Reading Your Sleep Report

How to interpret the nightly dashboard, trend cards, and signal warnings in DreamLink.

5 min readUpdated 2026-04-23

Start with the timeline, not the score

The score is a summary, but the timeline explains why the score moved. Start by looking at bedtime, sleep onset, awakenings, and stage continuity before drawing conclusions.

The four cards that matter most

  • Sleep onset: whether you settled quickly or stayed activated
  • Continuity: whether the night was stable or repeatedly interrupted
  • Recovery depth: how much restorative sleep DreamLink detected early in the night
  • Wake quality: whether you woke during a smoother transition window

When to trust a trend

Treat seven nights as a minimum baseline. If the app flags weak signal quality or missing segments, use those nights cautiously when comparing interventions or routines.
