Why firmware matters
Firmware updates can improve sensing stability, app connectivity, battery or power behavior, and model calibration. They are one of the first things support checks when troubleshooting unexplained issues.
Safe update checklist
- Keep DreamLink plugged into power
- Stay on a stable Wi-Fi connection
- Do not close the app during the update
- Wait for the completion message before unplugging the device
If an update fails
Restart the app and power-cycle DreamLink once before retrying. If the device no longer appears in the app after a failed update, contact support with the serial number and the approximate time the failure occurred.
